Golden Kamui One of the returning franchises in the stacked anime schedule for Fall 2022 (which will probably be the busiest season of the year overall), the anime has dropped a new Season 4 poster to celebrate! Satoru Noda’s original manga series ended earlier this year, but the anime adaptation is still going strong as the series prepares for the fourth season. As Sugimoto and Asirpa take over the next part of the dangerous quest for gold, there will be plenty of new players joining the fray this time around.
With the third season of the series splitting the main duo and featuring several interested parties in pursuit, it appears that it was just the beginning of all the characters we’ll see involved in the series’ fourth season. There are some new and familiar faces coming back for Season 4 Golden Kamuy, and you can check out this teaser of what to expect from the cast below with the latest anime poster released on the series’ official Twitter account below:

Golden Kamui Season 4 will begin on October 3 in Japan, and Shizutaka Sugahara will take over as director at Brain’s Base (of Geno Studio, which had the first three seasons) with new character designer Takumi Yamakawa, and returning screenwriter Noboru Takagi. The new season opening theme is titled “NEVER SAY GOODBYE FAIR. Mummy-D” as performed by Ali, and the new ending theme will be titled “I Pray That Everything Is There” as performed by SPELLBOUND.

Announcing that they will be broadcasting the new season along with its release as well, they sparked the excitement of the fourth season as such, “After his separation from Sugimoto, Aserpa now travels towards the Russian border, focusing on finding out more about her and her father’s involvement in code tattoos. But Sugimoto is determined to find and protect Aserpa! Along the way, he will discover new people, new cultures rich in history, and unforgiving terrain. Will Sugimoto and Aserpa survive their journey and be reunited again?”
